The DiskBoss data management solution provides two types of file copy data migration capabilities: the high-speed file copy operations and the secure file copy operations.

The high-speed file copy operations are optimized for the modern hardware architectures and capable of copying multiple files at the same time fully utilizing multi-core and multi-CPU systems. The user is provided with the ability to select specific types of files to be copied by the file type, name, creation, last modification and last access dates. Alternatively, DiskBoss allows one to exclude specific files from the file copy and data migration process. In addition, the user is provided with the ability to schedule periodic file copy operations, tune and customize the performance of the file copy operations, save file copy and data migration logs, etc.

The secure file copy operations provide the ability to transfer large amounts of data between Windows servers without using the Windows network shares while encrypting, compressing and verifying all the data transferred via the network. The user is provided with the ability to perform periodic secure file copy operation according to the user-specified schedule, select specific types of files to be copied, exclude sub-directories or specific types of files from the file copy and data migration process, etc.
